Quiet in here

LOL That snow on that skidder in UYT avi looks pretty good right now. 8:15PM here and still 82F with the wind blowing. Probably not hot by SE US standards, but it snowed here 3 weeks ago!

I would love some snow right about now.

I am currently buying window A/C units to get me through the summer until I can afford to replace my whole heating and air system.

Poor me.

Sike no. I am awesome.

LOL He is on the computer when he SHOULD be sleeping!!!! SO much to learn, so little time! NOW IF he had posted it at 2:15 AM I would consider that NORMAL for having a newborn!!!

Shouldn't you be changing a diaper or something, Stephan?

We are still at the hospital, and Climber is still in the intensive care nursery, he had a minor setback, and they had to re-hook up an I.V. to give him some energy. Later tonight, they are going to retry feeding him some formula, and see if he keeps it down.

The good part is that he is a healthy baby, and mom is recovering nicely.

I have all the time in the world to post on Treebuzz right now because Climber has a full time nurse taking good care of him.

But yes, I have changed his little diaper, and yes, he already did pee on me. Delightful to say the least.

You ain't seen nothing yet. You'll be using cloth diapers I presume?

Bryce says he's going to name his son Laxer.

Now Bryce is what, 15? When I was his age, I began telling people that my first born son would be named "Cleveland", and I believed it. I couldn't stick to my dreams, Climber seemed way more apropos given my career path and life passion.

Tell him that Laxer is a kick aZZ name, and he should find a girl willing to bend to his will and name their kid that.

Great, find a girl to bend to his will... I found a guy that let me name my first born Alder. It took a little convincing.

Trying to come up with something equally as cool for the possibility of number two down the line but haven't hit the jackpot yet. I have to stick with the tree theme!

I am sorry to hear that your son is still in ICU Stephan. I hope he makes a speedy recovery, and I really hope that Carmen is not in as much pain as is rumored to occur with the c-section. (Someone told me it felt like they were cut in half).

It can work both ways!

I love the name Alder. I'm sure if you have the opportunity to find another name, you will come up with something great! I hope your whole family plans to come to Charlotte next year. I am in charge of the show this time, and like always, this one will be better than the last!

Climber is slowly realizing that in order to leave the NICU he has to do what they want him to. We want him desperately to come home, and he wants that too...just needs to convince the docs that he can hang tough.

He's a little bruiser, I gotta say. He looks like a little Winston Churchill, Paul Michaels told me they all do. Such a little man face. Oh, when we get him home the love he will get!

I KNOW Carmen didn't see that!

It's an agreement we have.

I guarantee you, if a stuck pickle jar rears it's ugly head, I am johnny-on-the-spot. Also I am good at taking out the garbage and the recycling.

The washer and dryer are off limits to me.

Climber has been set back a couple of days. Right now they are saying that he might be released on Friday IF everything goes well tomorrow.

Seems he likes to spit up everything he eats, and they don't like that. They have him on a medicine to help him keep the liquids down, and he has shown improvement there....it's tomorrow after they stop giving it to him that will be the real test.

He is such a little smushy face, and desperately wants to get out of that beeping intensive care unit. I haven't held him without wires of some kind attached to him and screens beeping at us. It's getting to be a little over the top.

But I know that once he gets home, and six months fly by, I won't remember any of these sleepless nights wondering how my baby is doing and when we can get him home.

SZ

Hang in there, once you leave the hospital you can't take him back!

Hope you folks get to go home soon. I can't say much more 'cause people will know how mooshy I really am!

Just be patient, they are looking out for his best interest. Before you know it you guys will all be home and getting up every 2 hours to eat and clean poopy pants, wishing those lovely NICU nurses could just stay for one night so you can get some rest.

He sure is a cute little guy (love the new avatar) and will continue to be in my nightly prayers.

Keep us all posted.
