PNW ISA jamboree pictures

I agree, Gord, there's some good data captured there in those images.

The 25KB+ profile data contained in the images claims:
Code:

Make: Canon.
Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT.

along with all the date/time/shutter-speed/aperture/etc. information which it would really be nice if the software included with the cameras would provide an option to not include within images resized for email/web-posting, along with reducing the image quality for such purposes.

Okay, just looked it up. Digital Rebel XT. Not your typical pocketable digicam! SLRs are nice in that you see exactly what it is you're gong to capture without concern for parallax problems. The downside is you never really now just what it was you actually captured because the "screen" went black at the moment.

Wow Glens how did you get that info off the picts?

[/ QUOTE ]
It's part of the file. Last time I was stuck behind a Windows XP terminal window I thought I saw it available when right-clicking on the image and selecting "Properties" or some such. When I'm viewing the image using the "display" component of the http://imagemagick.org software suite, I can right-click and opt to view the information that way, or I can use the command-line tool the previous operation invokes and get it dumped to the console in plain text. As attached.

If I can add a couple more (although I threw some on the other pnw tcc thread before I saw this thread.)

Blair chucking a throwbag and Luke in the speed climb. Not certain what the real name of the station was, it was a conifer and he was belayed on a rear safety line.
