Pictures of your chipper truck, lets see them!

It is a 1997 Dodge with cummins 12 valve diesel. 350,000 mi still gets near 20 mpg and pulls like a freight train. Been through a few evolutions of my small tree service rig and this works pretty well for me. I actually downsized from a 1 ton dually and 12 inch chipper a few years back. All saws and tools in side mount tool boxes, climbing gear in the cab, ladders wheelbarrows etc on the rack,10,000lb winch in rear bumper can pull the chipper on board a 16' trailer with 4' side walls, hitch chipper to receiver at front of trailer, put 30 ton log splitter behind chipper and I can dismantle most any tree and take it home...It is basic but works for me as I concentrate on fruit and ornamental trees and fine quality residential pruning. Handles the occasional big removal as well. I sell and give away firewood and mulch anywhere I can find and that definitely reduces the haul off and provides a small return compared to paying for disposal.Plus processing the firewood gives me something to stay warm in the winter or blow off some steam if I am pissed.
I can make 400$ in a day if I am really pissed. selling wood I got paid to cut and haul off provides a nice $ cushion when it gets slow.
I like it! I started out with a 93 Dodge 12 valve 4x4 with an ez dumper in the bed pulling a 12" Bandit. Worked great!
Good to see someone over there picking up the scraps from ATS.

Here's our new rig. We traded down in size from our Topkick. It's a Ford F550 gasser. It gets terrible gas milage but we are money ahead because there are no repair bills or down time.

1986 woodchuck WC/12 w/Hercules 4cylinder gas . Been through hell and back ...twice . I've been chipping with that since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Lost gloves ,ear cups ,and bled lots from that little sweetheart . Eats straight 6 inch more like 4inch brush like no tomorrow ,but don't ask it to do another mother fucking thing!

Not ducking fast enough once in awhile apparently ,that bastard has no mercy for slow reaction time . I love it! Especially when it gets you on a cold morning. Wake your ass right up:cachetada:
