Pictures of your chipper truck, lets see them!

[QUOTE="Bigfoottreeservice, post: 562246, member: 14893"I saw another company a few years ago at the show. It was a dump truck with a prentice type loader and had a retractable tarp top with a chip door in back.

Do you remember the manufacturer by any chance?[/QUOTE]

Thanks for your thoughts on the spider lift.

I think I mucked up the thread a bit by asking about it matdand might need to come back in and clarify the truck question he had.

At least originally, they were saying it wasn't rated to dump logs, only chips, which took away a lot of the pluses of it. I believe they have since changed that, but don't quote me.
I figured if i got one it would be to replace the chip truck and log truck on smaller jobs. I wouldn't want to dump my mixed load, I'd grapple the logs out then dump the chip separately.

It’s one hell of a setup. Biggest issue and only we have had with the larger 60” grapple its a bit heavy when folding up unit. I had to fabricate a different setup but other wise its an awesome truck. The speed of the boom will never touch a prentice loader but its so much more useful. This truck has taken down large oaks as a crane. Loaded the wood into the dump body with the grapple. Throw the top on for a 20 plus yard chip truck.

All that equipment, all that knowledge, all that experience and yet no helmets on the job. :hueco:

This is what my Dad and I currently work with. We are in the process of getting a new chipper...the thing is ancient but it runs well.

This is today's most recent chip truck. We now have (2) F650's, (1) International 4700, (1) Vermeer BC1500, (1) Morbark M12R, (1) GEHL AL20DX, (1) Wilmar Manufacturing LOADER, (1) 16' SureTrac dump trailer, (3) Nissan Cube (Sales), and (1) 2019 Freightliner rear mount elevator bucket truck (terex), which is currently in route from Lynchburg, Virginia.
We also moved the business out of my parents house in 2013 and then again in 2016 to an 8,000 sqft building on 2 acres.
We still have that dodge as well. Wow 8 years has been a long time. IMG_1600.webp

Nice trucks
How much did that rear mount Freightliner cost you? I would love to get one in the next few years.
