Pictures from my hood

The wife and I really love growing food, so we make sure that we find a little time everyday to connect with earth and tend to the garden. Its usually the most peaceful calm moments of my day.
I would love to see your HH setup sometime. I have the Wrench purring like a kitten, but I haven't spent enough time getting the HH truly dialed in. Curious to see how some of you HH vets are running yours.

I just changed rope and cord (htp and some hitch cord, I forgot). A grand-fir pitched up my previous cord, and I bought new rope.

I need another wrap on the hitch cord, and to trim it.i also have an idea of leaving the cord a bit long, and like three sided green teeth, be able to advance the cord thru over the life.

On the original HH, putting the end of the hitch cord, under the biner, through the slot, cuts setback more, per Dave/ DMc.

Dmm ring is about 20mm ID, 46mm OD.

I consider making this a dedicated pulley, and shaving the top for a bit more bridge clearance.

That's a MCRS bridge, which is smaller than 1/2". Don't know exactly. Seems the pulley is ok on this, maybe my 1/2" bridge on another saddle rubbed???

Some people simply use a small accessory biner in place of the pulley.

With SRT/ SRS base-ties, clipping the "down-strand" to your bridge while limbing, makes it look like DdRT/MRS.
Easy to keep the down-stand visible, and away from branch collars on a conifer, where you want to cut.

Clearly, no blind-cuts with a base-tie, and TIT.

Second time I have been asked that question today.
I am in the coastal Redwoods, somewhere in NorCal. That is as much as I am willing to disclose.

I'm not dead yet...I think I'll go for a walk
