Sean,
We currently use Pinnacle Employee Leasing for our payroll.
It is not the same format as day labor.
It is more an outsource situation.
Paychex is more of a business model description than 'Labor ready'.
It is next to impossible to get someone to offer workers comp here in FL. We tree guys got a bad rep I guess.
We bring in who we want and pay them what ever we choose.
They are employees of the leasing agency and are leased to us.
The employee leasing puts us under their workers comp umbrella.
You do have to maintain hours, thats how they earn. More hours more fee. Its all done on a percentage system.
The more payroll you have the better rate you can negotiate for.
The only drawback... If you cant put your guys to work they can't collect unemployment unless the leasing agency cannot place them.
Let me know if this helps...
and yes... the wraptor rules!
