no reason to tip tie this one

There was no reason to set a redirect.. simply tie it on the near side of the balance point and make the cut. Piece goes down and away... tada
My comment was merely on observation(based on a shallow camera angle), for the sake of discussion. @Daniel it’s clear you’re not really here for discussion, more so for argumentative debate.

the suggestion to set up a porty in that under those scenarios is ridiculous.
I’m pretty sure we’re all done engaging you I know I at least am. I was saying if your so concerned about movement you could eliminate that using that method, that you clearly have no clue about. I wish you the best on working thru your personal issues.

@Daniel if you really care about safety and teaching and not showing bad examples, then you should be willing to critique your own videos and what went wrong in them. This is the way to regain credibility with people so if you care about all the things you claim to, the ball is in your court. Until you do so, don't expect to be taken seriously, even though you clearly have lots of experience. I challenge you to post one of your videos with a big mistake in it and then critique it, without bringing anyone else's name into the discussion.

I've made my share of mistakes. Still do. try to learn from them...

Here's a video showing some mistakes and just so happens to have a porty being used in the tree.....

Here's another one from back in the day

and this mistake was not mine and wasn't even in tree work.. it was fatal though and a good reminder of just how dangerous those wires can be.
