New to Kbooms. Tips?

on that leader pick off the back side it kinda looks like the shorter sling wasn't fully loaded. couldve been the camera angle. picking off the back side its good to keep static but just throwing it out the it looked as if 1 sling under that major union between them longer slings couldve worked too.

sweet pics nonetheless.

Thanks.

Good eye. I had to go look at the other pictures to see why that short leg seemed to have a kink in it, because i didn't remember.

you'll like this.

It's because I had a spider leg (adjustable one) on the main spider legs.

how many spider legs do i need?

Anyway, You will see it in one of these pictures.

sometimes I use a spider leg on a spider leg, if my main leg wasn't long enough to get to where I wanted it. The other reason is if I worried my attachement point of the main spider leg could break out (small diameter limb) so I use the second leg on another small diameter limb so the two small diameters combined is strong enough to trust.

Picture attached. Showing the far reaching back leader. Boom tip length of that crane is 134 if I remember correctly.

after the cut. here in this picture, you can see the bright blue tenex adjustable spider leg on the main spider leg. That's why it looked slacked in the other picture you saw.

That was a fun tree. Shame that it needed cut down (my opinion). Root rot all the way around the tree, plus a large cavity half way up, plus a lean toward house.

I'll show a picture of tree before the dismantling started; next post.

tree before the removal started.

i pointed out that back leader with the red arrow, for perspective since I don't see me in the tree here.

main trunk had old lightning rod imbedded in it, made things different too.

The crane rigging revolutionary tool?

I had so many products that I wanted to make, I was jumping from one to the other.

I then decided, hold on! Take the smaller projects first, build them, finalize them. One at a time. They costs less and not as complicated.

I have two things finished!, the final prototypes, that I now need to apply to patent and also still need to learn what legally needs to be on the devices.

One assists a lowering device and the other is used with rope rigging.

The crane rigging thing is going to take a long time, the components are not cheap either. But I still hope to have it done and released to the public at TCIA show in Baltimore this coming winter.

(oh, and it has nothing to do with that grapple/hydro saw head that i have, for real).

Don't worry about that peckerhead , x. He's lol'n over the fact that i was being polite in this thread when in fact i was trying to keep this thread going without insult in an effort to find more out about these chucklebooms......

You want to lol back at him? Ask him what a 5k lb ash pick looks like and the proper way to sling said pick.... for someone with a supposed 40yr crane game the joke is him and his operation.

Fact, not opinion.

Oh and wait till how explains how to stop a swinging piece with one word .. "cable".

Hahahahahahahaaaa.

go ahead sleevy, show these fellas your pioneering crane game.

those few recent pics i put are are better than anything you have come up with.

go ahead and show these boys the proper way to sling and cut a piece and then give them the lowdown , as you did at AS, on how to stop a piece from swinging post awful cut.

you the man, right?

show these boys how good a crane can run without an LMI or anti2block system and how good it has made you at knowing what weighs what.

we got anti2block but what's an lmi gonna tell ya? how much you just cut off? whatcha gonna do if you don't like the #? :=)

this was yesterday

could be any day

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCUiCUUHVj4&feature=relmfu

some are more complicated than others but all easier because we can drive a mile or two to our lot and get our 25 ton 150' rr mount like you go back to your lot and get the can of Cope you forgot from your '79 Rabbit, cause you had a bad hangover.

every day....41 years...me and another guy...any td you ever done...we dun it...with never 1 claim

cheers justie

Wow, sleevy. You put up a video of a twelve hundred lb piece that is not moving at all. Per the norm for you i guess ... every vid you put up absolutely nothing is happening. Every time.

I put up legit pics and you show a baby pick that slid off the cut due to your cut and had to wait for the piece stop swinging till you hit record...

Again, garbage coming from you.

Regarding your 150ft tip height. I call BS. You will never in your lifetime use the second boom that has a basket at the end of it for tree work so you can stop lying about it.

I got a question. Why do you lie on your website about total ANSI compliance when in every pic on your gallery and in the vids NO ONE is wearing a hard hat, chaps,or safety glasses?? Not very compliant, now are ya?

"Woof woof...I do crane picks..wwoof...I do crane picks woof"

"of course you do honey, just settle down...it's your day off...I'll take you for a little walk when I finish this book"
