I worked on the so cal edison bark beetle removal contract out in san bernadino ca and we used bobcats on tracks to drag the brush and logs up to the road and at the end of the day two of those rigs came and hauled everything away... so easy ..good choice mark... are you able to mount a winch on it somewhere to drag logs or brush with a choker or does it already have one ?..my buddy has a large prentice on a ten wheeler with a 60,000 lb winch on its side .it works sweet

No good on the winch. We wanted one, but there wasn't enough hydraulic functions to add the winch. We tried to add one. I guess we'll have to choker chain the hard to reach ones. One twenty footer will get us to 76'. Two will get us near 100'.

Mark, could you rear mount that?, probably no need to with that reach. Whats the name of that Loader again?

Weird Mangoes. That's almost identical. /forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Dave, we could've rear mounted the boom, but then you can't dump it. If that were the case then I would probably put log bunks on it instead of the box.

The boom is made by Heila. It's an Italian boom, but has some nice features like North American hoses and fittings to make them easily replaceable and cheap.
