I feel so sorry for you!

Yeah, good one MB (meat ball) /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I hear ya. But, it just isn't as easy to operate as a normal sized boom. It will take a lot of careful work to use it without any problems. I picked up a 3K log today from about 48' away and the far outrigger came up off of the ground. Kinda scary for a sec.

don't you have to know how to drive the truck before you "try" to operate it, grapplegod /forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Reading back through this, has the truck got a 30 tonne metric GVW?
over here, I'm restricted to 26 metric tonnes GVW.
how much payload have you got on that truck? and how many horsey powers under the bonnet?

Mark, how much can that thing lift close up? I just talked with a few loggers today about coming to get a saw log. Some guys are afraid of trying to lift it with a grapple. Afraid it's too heavy at ~15,000 lbs.
