My WOD

First WOD of the year: One of the most brutal Crossfit workouts named 7.

Seven rounds for time of:

7 Handstand Pushups
7 Thrusters (135/95)
7 Knees to Elbows
7 Deadlifts (245/165)
7 Burpees
7 KB Swings (70/52)
7 Pullups

I did 5 rounds in 32 minutes and called it quits before my heart exploded. After too many party nights this week I was gassed.
 
Did this after work yesterday and am sore already. I broke during the 8th round of pull ups and time ran out.

Mary:
Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:
5 handstand push-ups
10 one-legged squats, alternating
15 pull-ups

Nice. Mary ain't no joke. I wimped out and did cindy for 15 rds. Pistols are not my strong suit.
 
i cant do pistols yet. i broke both of my ankles and my foot in three separate incidences and ankle flexibility isnt my strong suit. i do a version of them on a 30 inch plyo box. maybe that should be a goal for this year.
 
Goals for me is be develop good form and perform full ranges on pistols, overhead squat/ snatch, double unders, toes/knees to bar and handstand push ups. I can get alot of these scaled or with low weight so I just need to take that next step. Next year bar muscle ups....
 
Created my own WOD yesterday:

5 Handstand push-ups
10 One-legged squats
15 Strict Dips
20 24" Box jumps
25 Pushups

5 RFT

Today:
FRIDAY 150116

Complete as many rounds as possible in 10 minutes of:
275-lb. deadlifts, 10 reps
20 GHD sit-ups
 
today did a 21 15 9
135 power clean and squats
chest to bar pullups

took 11 minutes and 3 seconds. everything hurts now after a long week of climbing. hahaha. any of you guys going to enter the Open? I just signed up.
