Contracting for TC262, with Timbertime Tree Service

What craneslings you using there?

They are some long dead eyes from Rope Logic. TC262 could give you better details in them. I know they were stabil braid and somewhere around 5/8ths.
We also used some hollow braid slings Tom had spliced himself that worked great as spider legs.

One of the spider legs is a 20ft 5/8 stable braid dead eye http://www.treestuff.com/store/catalog.asp?category_id=78&item=1235
Then I have 3/4 and 7/8 Tennex 22ft long eye and eye's that I like using with shackles for the trunk wood or as additional spider legs if needed.

So just to get the idea right, you would rig to the crane then bomb out? Pull you climbing line, the second climber would cut the limb. From there you would tie back into the ball and ride up to the next, repeating the process?

Happened to me in an old International with 600gl of fert in the tanks on a clover leaf highway ramp. Pretty sketchy.

I bought my chipper from mike poor. I demoed the chipper on a 40" sugar maple removal. That guy can bring the heat. Super chill from what i remember had a half pipe in his backyard
