My Latest Contract Climbing Adventure.

I can still cut faster then they can clean up, but the gap is closing.

I guess if you end up matching speeds, you will have attained maximum efficiency for the whole operation.

The speed with which you gentleman work has me wondering how far out they are booked for work. Don't answer if it would betray a confidence. Thanks.

Everybody I contract for keeps saying "We have more work then we know what to do with." I guess that's why they call guys like me, knock out 2 days of work in one.

You lucky.
I Tip reduced a +36" Siberian elm last week. Didn't finish the cabling.
2 climbers, 1 afternoon
WHERE WAS THE CRANE?!?!?!

Its nice to see we aren't all desperately knee squeasing for crispy twigs.

I leave a hinge that I think will never pop then pull it with the dingo. I am not a fan of pulling with a machine or winch, but the Siberian elms, and EAB ashes get special treatment. I just don't trust them the same way I do the pecans from back home.

For all of you BMG owners, the rake is an impressive tool. Get one, use it. Turns 20 or 30 minutes of mindless BS in to a quick easy job. If you have a good operator there is very little turf damage as well.
