Minnesota Tree Climbing

Yeah, we'll have to see what happens. Rain looks to be tapering off but you never know. Gotta pay those bills.

Everyone make sure to check in with me (or I'll call you) before showing up on Saturday!

OK, let's go for it. 9AM at Granny's tomorrow.

I was planning to bring some doughnuts/pastries but if you have a good breakfast spot in mind...

I am planning to spend 2-3 hours, so we certainly won't be climbing after noon. Unless we're having too much fun! And just a reminder to all; this is mostly a Rec Climb, so let's have fun and share ideas... and grab a few dead branches while we're up there!

Tool box?! You climbin' or spiderin'?

The Egg and I is on University Ave and 280. South side of Uni, West of 280.

I'll probably just grab a doughnut and drink a coffee at Granny's. Might change my mind in the morning. Give a call if you're going for an early breakfast and I'll base it on how hungover I am.

Alright, I'll meet you guys at Egg and I. Even if just for coffee. See you in the morning.

I know where that is

Hey that was a fun morning! Thanks again everyone for showing up and having a good time, and of course, pruning out some deadwood! Edith (Grandma) was thrilled to have so many enthusiastic and skilled arborists caring for her trees.

Left to right: Dave Nordgaard, Me, Edith, Jim Steele, Russ Lewis, Brian Mickelson, Mike. Taking the photo is my uncle, John. Not pictured are: Mike's son Eric, and also Eric Raven, his brother Ben, and Raven's kids Ari and Serena (spelling?).

Uncle John Conway, Jim Steele, and Eric(last name?) cleaning up. Special thanks to Jim for bringing his "Toolbox" containing the Gehl and Morbark!

Thanks again everyone! See you on the next one... No pruning next time, just climbing.

That was a great time Taylor, release the stress of cabin fever, anytime give me a call we should go tackle that monster cottonwood in Minneapolis at North Metro Regional Park, or anywhere who cares. Fun!
