Minnesota Tree Climbing

I may be able to do something in the afternoon, could do a bonfire at my place in the evening. I'll be out for saturday morning though.

OK. Looks like Elm Creek is out this weekend. Let's get together on the 8th-9th if possible.

Brian M. and myself are climbing somewhere local in about an hour or so, if anyone else wants to join.

Here are a few photos from today. Seamus Walsh came out with his son, Austin. "A" didn't feel like climbing so it was Seamus, Brian, and myself in this big ol' cottonwood.

Stop thinking negative Jim! No rain tomorrow, though it may be quite cold in the AM. Light snow tonight, if you can believe it.

Brian M. is out; has to take care of some storm damage in the AM. I haven't spoken with Raven. I did put in a call to Pierce. See you in the morning!

I would love to meet up with you guys one of these times. Unfortunatly I am out of town for a couple of weeks, so I cant meet up for awhile.

I am not much of a climber. I have all of my own equipment, but havent been up in a tree in a couple years. It would be nice to go out with some experienced climbers who know what they are doing and hopefully pick up some pointers.

I will keep my eye on this thread and hopefully I can meet up with you guys soon. Plus it would be nice to meet some fellow Buzzers in MN.

I would really like to know the location of the sugarbush out in Elm Creek too, sound pretty cool.
