Are you guys talking about "exterior" climbing towers, ie. cellphone towers? For some reason I'm picturing the guys climbing up the inside of the wind turbine towers. Of course a 2 cycle motor (wraptor) would be a problem in an interior structure.
But come to think of it, the turbine guys ladder-climb most of the way up and then repel down from the outside...if I remember correctly.

Trying to find something about this I came across the Actsafe system.

They have a declaration of conformity so, I would have to assume that the market is there for this type of device and that your competition would eat you alive if you didn't have the Wraptor rated.

Time to look at the cost of entry vs. the size of the market
