Same spot, waiting on a call to join fire protection union. I was forced back into the field full time after we lost a climber and ive damn near walked off the job a day a week since then.

Hear ya. I considered firefighting as a change and might get a per diem to spice up the work days.

I tried my hand at milking goats for a few weeks and got right back to the trees, looking for next opportunity currently.

Installing sprinkler systems in commercial buildings for me. Union wages and benefits. If i hate it tree work aint going anywhere.
