One of my favorite shots from the weekend...

Traffic Cone gave my nephew a ride in his Beach Rolly. Sam can't walk anymore due to bad knee problems, but he had a blast in the Kid's Climb and didn't hesitate ditching his wheelchair to hop into TC'c Rolly. Thanks Dale.

Re: KY TCC 07

I contacted Sapporo.
They seem to acknowledge that they had a food problem. They are they are trying to figure out what it was.
They are also trying to contact everyone affected.

Re: KY TCC 07

My brother-in-law Russell took some pics and posted them on our Flikr page. Go to our website below, and follow the Flikr link on the left column.

Oh- TJ also didn't feel well yesterday. So that brings the count to...?

Re: KY TCC 07

Please add Missouri to the list of represented states.

Re: KY TCC 07

Thank you for hosting a great TCC and thank you also for being so supportive of women climbers. FYI to those who didn't get to attend the KYTCC, the KAA had Louisville Slugger bats made for Jen and I. On them was our name, and "Thanks for breaking the ice. KYTCC 2007" since we were the first women climbers at a KY competition. The bats are awesome and represent how how considerate and supportive your chapter was to us.

Thanks for the great experience.

Re: KY TCC 07

I haven't even talked about Rob's Rigging Challenge event!

That was a great set-up on the event, and I can't wait to have it down here in Charlotte for the Judges.

For the peanut gallery, Rob, you should tell everyone how you set it up, and what the basic rules were.

I competed, but I don't want to leave out any important set up details. It was so much fun! I was disappointed that I didn't get to see other teams compete after Jeff and I did.

Re: KY TCC 07

We will add Missouri to the list of rep. states. Sorry Ann. In my mind, everyone who came was from east of the Mississippi. Except you, I guess. And Abram and Lindsay.

Also- I was bummed I didn't get to watch Rob's event. I think that it is a cool idea, and is very crowd inclusive. For the fear factor, you have to have someone ride the log to the ground.

Re: KY TCC 07

Hey props to your roping skilz EZ...... you schooled all of the "tree guys"

I guess sales/manager guys are good for somthing!

i will start a new thread for the rigging challenge

Re: KY TCC 07

I'll have to take a 5 day vacation to read the entire thread, but this seemed like THE place to be this year!

Seems half of TreeBuzz was there : )

Congrats on chairing such a successful event Roger - nice when everyone chips in, helps out and seems to share a sense of humour.

Re: KY TCC 07

Just thought I'd jump in to say.... We had a blast in the great state of Kin tuc e! I am glad I was able to join Mrs.morningwood with all our little woods for a good time. KYTCC put together quite a show . Thank you Roger for chairing the event. Also, Vince for keeping the scores. Sorry the "little woods" missed running for you. Chris and Cory... you guys went above and beyond with the shop and T-shirts and pizza dinner. Many thanks for everything. It was truly a pleasure getting to meet some fellow Tree Buzzers. EZ thanx for showing me how to "Greet the sun". Join us in Florida in Jan for the Over 40 competition. Most of you will be frezzing your axxes off anyway. I hope to see all of you again soon. Don
