KY TCC 07

Results Masters KY TCC07

OK Here are the Results, and some clarifications.

The two women that competed (Jen and Ann) their scores in the "Preliminary Total" is their scores straight-up with the Men's scoring program. The numbers that show up in the Masters column is their numbers ran with the woman's scoring program. Congrates to both ladies that showed up strong.

Whit Eaton's numbers are correct. He messed up his back on his first tree (Belayed Speed), and had to decline the rest of the events. Next year he said he would be ready.

The Master Climb went to the top 3 competitors from KY. So the top "overall" was Kevin Bingham. Dude, your crazy -- I want to party with you again.

This "Overall Scoresheet" page has been reformatted for the web. If you have individual questions please PM Roger. I don't want to hear your whining.

Just kidding, I don't have the paper sheets, but I have the numbers for each event if you want to see them PM me.

Any other Questions?

. I said in the beginning that this was a rebuilding year and I'm so appreciative of the efforts of you guys and gals that 1000 thank you(s) aren't enough. We were accident free; had several first time climbers; two female competitors. It really came together well. Some of my
Highlights: getting twenty through by noon(ish), Our extra demonstration event...Rob; Ben thanks for putting the effort into that "tulip-maple" we were topping. Its good to give the ground guys credit too. Jersey, The photos and all the running, thanks! One of the more difficult things I had to do was Not allow three climbers that showed up towards the end of the walk through. 3 good climbers from TN. 2 of whom were in TN's Masters event. Mr. Charles Robinson stepped in, after not being allowed to compete, and was head tech in our belayed speed climb! You sir are a class act! As was the company you brought with you. Re: In the Masters KY TCC07

I almost forgot about the nickname of ROCKY TOP. What a good time was had by all and looking forward to coming down to KY again for next year and see when I get a chance to hook up with everyone again. It's always a pleasure seeing so many good people coming together to help out. It's like one big family when this group gets together.

Rat,
Was it good this year???? If you think not then you're a(n) ____ (fill in the blank). But I feel fairly certain that a great time was had by all, because we are all excellent arborists.

The local sushi spots have been warned about their impending windfall and I am pretty sure that we will even have enough squirrel meat saved up for Tyler.

and remember: ITS A GREAT DAY TO EXCELL !!!!!!

Rich,

How do you feel today? I told you about fish places that are that far from the ocean. BTW, this post is just one of many that said you had them ready for us.

I also enjoyed savoring a victory spider roll with EZ. Thanks AR judges and techs.

I do hope you and Rick are feeling better.

OHHH Babyyyy!!!! Finally back from the grave and ready to eat some more fish.....or maybe some meat this time. We are semi certain that it was actually the salads that caused the problems and not the fish. Oh well, what doesn't kill you makes you hungrier.

Congrats to everyone for one heck of an amazing weekend in KY!!!!!! That was probably one of the best times we have had this year and considering what went on in Texas, NC, Fl, and Hawaii this year that is saying a lot. It was great to see everyone and to climb with old friends and new. The competition was nearly flawless with incredible displays of comradery and skill by everyone involved. The first time competitors did excellently and Jen and Ann represented with a ton of class and skill. Needless to say none of this could have happened without a ton of work from the volunteers and a ton of support from the sponsors. Limbwalker Tree Service really stepped up with the GRCS and other support. The man who laid the foundation for this success and guided it along the bumpy road deserves a ton of thanks and congratulations, so here it goes: YOU ROCK ROGER, WELL DONE !!!!!!!! Toni and I are really excited to see what lays ahead for next years KY TCC.

Rich,
Did the fish make your tummy feel bad???? I was up all day on sunday yacking!!! I was wondering if anybody else was feeling bad?

I don't think that i will eat "sushi" in KY again

Man i feel better now

Hey it wasn't the fish. Gabe was stopping a lot on the way home and he went out for the pizza. Also talked with Mrsmorningwood today and her tummy wasn't great ether, also my wife who could not make it was home all day today visiting with the bathroom. So from one who dose not like fish it dose not seem like this was the problem this time. Hope all feel better real soon.

We've been to a bunch of TCCs and I have to say...this was the best!! You KY boys have really raised the bar! FL is gonna have to "bring it" next year!

I am just glad we all got to get together..... and no one died from the food poisoning.

My Brother Simon nearly died though, I knew something was terribly wrong when he passed by the keg and went straight to the blow up mattress to lay down. Three hours later, he was filling up a stray trash can to the brim with Unagi, Spicy Tuna rolls, and Spider Rolls.

The ride home was rough for all of us, but still we all couldn't stop laughing about all of the good times we had.

Things I learned in KY:

1. If you are ever in Louisville, try starting from the Denny's by the University. That is the key to unlocking the city of sewer smells road system.

2. Always be prepared to receive a new nickname at one of these TCCs, Rocky Top. (photo coming soon)

3. Never underestimate the power of Morningwood and his clan.

4. Never allow Kyle to be around Roger's throat with a sharp tool.

I didn’t eat salad at Sapporo.
I had problems w/ intestinal distress (2 days), headache (2 days), & mild stomach nausea.
I wonder if it might be the sandwiches at the park.
But heard that 2 people TOTALLY unrelated to TCC, had visited Soproro, & also had problems.
I’m now OK.
Ciao ! Chow ???

I ate the sushi and the salad and no problems here. I am coming down now from my sushi fix. I'm gonna have to find me some good stuff or venture out and get some raw squirrel as Rich likes to claim.

P.S. to the work climb.

VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great TCC. Definetly the best one I have been too. A big thanks to Roger for making it all come together. Congrats to Chris, Richard, and Cory. Sorry I missed the party at the shop, but glad I missed the sushi. If your ever in Lex, we'll Have to go to Tomo's. Great Sushi. Everyone be safe.
