Job forecasting numbers

All,
I need to find numbers for prospective job outlook in arboriculture. There are some things being discussed at our school and I want to be able to add/steer the conversation with some data. I looked at the US board of labor stats but they lump some strange things together (we get lumped in with landscaping ). I wanted to know if anyone knew where to find numbers specific to our industry. Does ISA or TCIA have any of these numbers?

Maybe could ask some colleges? Guys like Dr. Ball might have some numbers too?

Look around in the classifieds, online and anywhere else someone might advertise for help. I look around my area and many of the legit companies are starving for good help. There's a thought, they are starving on a feast cause they just can't get it done.
How do you quantify that into numbers??? I don't know! But weathermen don't either and that's their job.
If our communities continue to grow and new young arborists are not trained (and keep at it) there will always be that need for manpower. Many of our businesses (you can see it in the job finder section) are growing faster than our manpower pool we draw from. And that's not good for many of us!
