That's a pretty strong list. I've never seen Bob Weber climb, but I have seen the other 4. Scotty is smoothest. Mark is the prettiest. Bettis is the most German and dominating. Ken had a great mustache for a while.

I would definitely have Sam in my top 5. That's a hard question though Riggs. So many great climbers through the years. Maybe make it ten and then I can start naming them.

I am honored to be top of your list though! Those are some killer competitors.

Oh, and Sam can still get down. He's a star to me. One of my favorite climbers of all time.

Using the KPI/metric example of "on-base percentage" would click better with my thought process. However the Hall of Champions only identifies the winners. OBP analytic would require an evaluation of competitors who made the Masters'.

However a quick pivot table in excel produced the following:



It would be REALLY interesting to see what statistics would produce if overall participation in the Masters' was analyzed.
