INTERNATIONALS!!

Any bets on the winning foot lock time? I'll put 10 bones on breaking 14 seconds.* , **, ***, ****, *****

* That bet is open to the first 5 people to respond to it*
**In the event that I lose, the actual winner will be resposible for buying the equivalent of $ 10.00 worth of beer to help me drown my sorrows**
***In the event that I should win, I will gladly donate the money to buy beers to help drown the losers sorrows***
****Hell forget it, lets just watch the foot locks in awe and talk about it over a few beers later*****

I gotta say, having seen Mr. Chipps in action over the last two years it is real hard to go against betting on him. The flawless country karaoke alone makes him worth betting on, but I have a strange feeling the title is heading East of the mighty Mississippi. My ten bucks are only for the 14 second barrier.

I sure hope I am imagining things and I didn't just see that the 10 day weather forecast in Minneapolis includes 6 days of 94+ degrees and 4 days of 90-94 degrees. Well at least the 98 degree day is on Friday and not Saturday. I don't suppose you have a "dry heat" up there?????

I have a favor to ask of someone from the MN area, could I borrow a pair of gaffs for the Saturday afternoon chainsaw demo? I'm used to Buckingham T2's, but beggers can't be choosers right? /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sure if you need them, i'll be down friday afternoon and the weekend I have a pair of the aluminum bashlins with the super pads or i could ask one of the other guys at work he has a pair of the titaniums if you prefer them.

I have to put in my winners now . I want my own chapter rep to win , Roach has all the skills .
I hope he does real well . Mark has done this forever , I remember competing against him in 93 ' , the Phillies were in the world series, how long ago was that ?.
To build up the ITCC , a fan base helps . I'm pulling for both the Jersey Climbers , If one's on point they'll rule the joint !. First round on me !

I appreciate the help guys. I just need a pair for Saturday around 4:00- about 5:00. If one of you could get them to me, or even better, get them to the Stihl booth outside in the field day area and drop them there (ask for Anita), that would be great. Thanks again for the help!

14.04? Hmmm, even better than I remembered! /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif I guess it's true what they say about the mind going first? /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The trees are set, rules agreed on, climbers are in bed...well, most of 'em anyway :) They have about seven hours to rest, eat breakfast and get to Loring Park.

Today was hot...lots of water went down. I'm betting that more than one person is going to be dipping in the fountain or wading pool.

Best of luck to all of the competitors from around the world.

Heading out. Bringing some gaffs (whether they're needed or not) and my swimsuit!
