INTERNATIONALS!!

Can somone tell me what the weather is likley to be doing around competition time, I need to know what to pack. I hope its not as cold as here at the moment.

The ITCC is in July so you won't be there during winter...that starts some years in late August...he he he :)

Here are the extremes that you might expect...lows around fifty...highs just over 100, if so, expect humidity to be high too. The worst part of MN heat and humidity is that the air tends to be still at the same time so there is little cooling. So far, the heat/humidity here in Atlanta hasn't been any more uncomfortable that in MN.

You probably don't need to pack any long underwear bottoms but a light weight synthetic undershirt...long sleeve and some sort of fleece shirt will get you through in fine shape. The more people that bring rain gear with them to the ITCC site at Loring Park the less likely we'll need it :)

If you come up short on good gear, Midwest Mountaineering, with Thrifty Outfitters upstairs, is nearby. They have good gear.

I'm going to be driving up from Atlanta in case anyone needs some heavy or large gear brought home. My shipping fees are a lot less than UPS :)

See you all soon!

Joes garage on the north east side of the park is good place to Chow (medium priced), Good bar scene at riverside across the stone arch bridge. bridge is bout ~2 miles from the park. Beer garden at the park not sure who we have yet were trying to get summit. I was in the park today - parking sucks - setting up shuttles at parade stadium and dunwoody, a couple blocks away for you drivers. You can walk there from all the Downtown Hotels.

Welcome all!! see you in three weeks /forum/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif
