Illinois rescheduled TCC

We finished the 5 preliminary events and had started with the Master's when a tornado watch came thru. I stopped the event and we dismantled in the rain.
The prelim results are as follows:
1st John Meiszner
2nd Todd Kramer
3rd Jason Diehl
4th Brian King
We had 1 women competitor, Desiree Hughes.
Because we are so close to the ITCC (July 26), my decision is to go with the prelim results. I am going to call the ITCC committee to ask their opinion on Monday. I will have a final decision by Monday afternoon.
Please keep in mind, there is another Illinois comp on Sept. 27th. The winner will represent Illinois in Providence in 2009.
Thank you to all the Buzzers who helped with set up and judging/teching/dismantling. There is no way this comp would have run the way it did without your help and expertise. Again, a thousand thank you's.

The ITCC committee has agreed with my decision to go with the preliminary scores.
I will post the score sheet very soon. Here's what is happening. The preliminary standings are as follows:
John Meiszner 1st
Cormac Nagan 2nd
Todd Kramer 3rd
Jason Diehl 4th
Brian King 5th
Jose Chavez 6th
John Meiszner's wife is pregnant and due right at the ITCC date, so John doesn't want to go to St. Louis. Cormac is from North Carolina and can't compete in the Master's or represent Illinois (I told him up front before he registered to compete). So, Todd will represent IL in St. Louis.
Kramer Tree Specialists won the Corporate Cup.
