Roger, set up is Friday and the comp is Saturday. The IAA will pay for 1 night Hotel stay.

Roger, I would love to hitch hike on the way up but I think my plans for staying there are a little different. The girl will be moved in as of April 1st up there so I'll be up there spending some time with her. She has an extra bedroom if anyone needs a place to crash.

Checked out the site last week. This year it's on the East side of the Arboretum in the 'oaks collection'. Much closer parking. Pruning is set up for May 8th if anyone is interested.

If anyone is looking for a place to crash for a night there is room at my girls place. It's about 20 minutes away from Morton arboretum. Extra bedroom as well as a large comfy couch.

The IAA will reimburse the out of staters for their Hotel stay. Find your own hotel. Thanks.

Hey Norm, the plan so far is to head up on the night of the 5th to make sure I am there bright and early for set up on the 6th. I am absolutely at your service for whatever help you may need for the whole comp.

Saturday June 7th is here. Thank you to all the volunteers. Fox TV is going to do a "live" shoot on Friday (June 6, set up) morning at 7AM and 8AM.

When I make a commitment to someone, especially one whom I have soooo much respect and admiration for, then I can't keep that commitment...... it wrenches my stomach. I know your TCC will go great, best to everyone. Safety "angels" all around......
