i want to honestly apologize to all of you

i was a bit drunk last night when i made those comments on that thread and felt really bad this morning when i reflected on it. that was un cool and now i feel i have tarnished my name in a giant way and have made a dumb azz out of myself. that behavior is best left in PM. will you forgive me?

Joshua, I have no idea what was said last night, but I will take this opportunity to tell you that I find your posts to be 'shot from the hip,' in general. You ask alot of questions (which is not a bad thing), but often it becomes apparent after a short time that your questions are incomplete and not well thought out.

My advice to you is to use this opportunity to reflect on how you'd like to be viewed by the online tree community (in this case, TB), and act accordingly. We are only as good as our actions and words, and you're in some good company here, so take advantage of that.

Some solid advice!!

You know man, I can't honestly judge you at all. We've all been pissed before and said some stuff we regret later. I read it last night and it was a bit like Jerry Springer, so I kinda dug it. But I don't know any of the people envolved and I wasn't taking any sides. I was just like Keanu Reeves, like "whoa".

If you haven't done it, PM those fellas you blitzed and give them a good big e-hug. As far as us strangers, no worries.

Good onya for apologizing, now make it personal and sincerely apologize to the people you called out. I don't think that will be easy but do it... for yourself.

Things obviously went sideways with you guys. That happens to everybody sooner or later. Just do your part to make it right and let it go. It doesn't matter if if they respond negatively, do your part and let it go.

Tom's spot on about rolling out the dough before you pop it in the oven.

Unlike real life, tb is very forgiving. That Edit button works wonders, unless of course your victims quote you (no idea of what thread this is about).

Other fora have a 10-minute window for pullbacks.

Alcohol, like the internet, is best used in moderation--quoth the preacher who occasionally overuses both!

It happens Joshua. No big deal.

I thought it was clever when you told me "I'm beginning to like you more Xman", after I tried to tear you up.

That was one of the worst things you could have said. ha ha.

I stubbled on that thread and I was like, WHOA! As well, It got me excited and I had to get in on it.

Viking wanted the whole thread deleted and I'm sure you and others did too, so you can thank me that I added my part to that Jerry Springer show to help get it deleted entirely.

Good job Tom D once again.

I hope we truely don't make Tom mad when we get a little out of hand.

to be honest. i think im starting to walk my path on becoming a hard azzed tree man. these things shape me up to handle it in the future more appropriately. if anything, i think i need it since this work is tough and you sure cant be a panzy in this line of employment.
i find it good for me mentally to know that there are guys out there who will give me a hard time no matter what i do to prove myself to be a hard worker. thanks for accepting my apologies guys. tom i am so sorry man. i feel like im acting like im 16.

ps. Xman, thanks for razzing me and being a hard azzed treeman.

Nobody is perfect.

Being Hard Azzed is easy, being thoughful, empathetic, just and truthfull is what we should all strive to be.

Its hard to communicate at times with key board, Keep it positive.

All will soon be forgotten and forgiven. I hope!

TreeBuzz is a great site to share.

I do not mind a little of the bad with the whole lotta good.

Cheers

Hey all these 'teenager' and 'I feel like imacting 16' and stuff is making me think... Do I act like that? Do I come across to you guys like josh did? because if I do, please tell me

I'm 16, BTW

Sometimes it's good to type the rant out, then just let it sit there for ten minutes or so. Come back to it later, read it, then decide what to do with it.

I've deleted many a post (typically to one feisty squirrel)...but it still felt good typing it!

Mellow now.

mellow can often = boring.

Don't worry drama deprived people, I'm sure the buzz will get exciting again someday, in the winter when we are not so dang busy.

I take offense to the "drank too much and said bad things" cop-out.
I am a recovered alcoholic. I paid a price for my inability to moderate my consumption.
A little boring to listen to drunk people's excuses.

-sorry, just my 2 cents :) Back to watching re-runs of Yo Gabba Gabba with my kids...
