They don't make them much bigger than that if at all! The champion madrone was taken down a good few years ago, could measure that beast up and give it a silly name.

I'll admit I'm cheating a bit here, let's just call the century old fire scaring on these old growth fir remnants an interesting buttress feature?

A beautiful snag, and a 6' dbh stump with springboard notches and a hemlock growing out of it.

I measured this tree a good few years ago. I can't remember what I came up with but its close to 9-9.5' diameter at the skinny spot. This is my guy James and he's not small
