I can add, keep the group small. Big group rec climbs attract a lot of attention and members tend to do stupid things. No more than 3 I found keeps everything more quiet and members tend to be more responsible.
Just my take on it. Now for organized red-climb events it's another thing. Still I have always believed the fewer the better.
