Found this at the base of a White oak today that I was hired to do a risk assessment on. It was in the soil right at the edge of a root. Everything else looks really good, even resistograph into the area right where the fungus is. ID will just help dictate reinspection cycle. Appreciate any help... I know this isn't a great sample. I can do OK with text book individuals, but am hoping somebody here can help with a degraded specimen.
