Help ID a rope

I just ordered some tri tech from treestuff to replace a lanyard and to my surprise inside the box was not only my tri tech but also a rope bag with at least 150' of 16 strand something or nother in it (THANKS TREESTUFF!). It's orange/black rope, I tried to find it on the website but am having no luck. I will try to get a picture tomorrow if noone has any ideas off the top of their head. Thanks yall.

That's probably the rope that comes with a Wraptor... 1/2" 16-strand. Orange and black stripes running laterally. They were selling just the rope, but may have stopped carrying it, and are just unloading the remaining stock as a bonus for you lucky guys that hit the jackpot. I can't think of any other rope that's just orange and black.

Thanks dude. You nailed it. It's made by all gear, which is what I wanted to know. Its still on the site but it's listed under the 24 strand ropes. I think I will use it as a rigging line. I've been using xtc for a longtime and wanna get the black and yellow (pgh pride) colors next.

I would suggest contacting Treestuff and getting the stretch specifications on the line before you start rigging with it. I'm pretty sure that line has inherent dynamic qualities designed to give you a little bit of bounce if you take a short drop while climbing on it.

You just might not want to use it for rigging over a high-value target with close tolerances.

I couldn't resist the urge to go for a ride with this rope and found I really like it. I'm going to keep it for climbing. I was hesitant at first because it doesn't have a splice but I think I will get used to it.
