Was that the plane doing the stunts off the shore there for a bit in the afternoon? Meant to ask Dan if that was his buddy or not, but never thought to.

Dan is a class act, he even showed me a few tricks at the estate there, maybe I'll put the video up in a few days.

No this was shot the day before that. It was actually Kevin and Linus Murphy (Murphy Brothers Tree) friend who shot the picture. He circled us pretty low a few times that day.

That was quite the feat! No more muffins for you for breakfast, sir.

A big "thank you" to everyone at the workshop. Dan, Mark, Jim, and Brian, what an amazing effort to organize this event. And to everyone who participated, it was great to work with you, learn from you, and get to know you. Please look me up if you are ever in the NYC area.

I'm under the gun here right now, but I wanted to post a quick THANK YOU to all of the participants! You guys made this so rewarding and professional. I also want to say a public THANK YOU to my fellow instructors and operators, sponsors, and the trustees that allowed us to run free on the estate.

I just got settled in from the weekend at the workshop A Big Thank You to The Crane Estate,Dan Mayer,Jim,Mark,Brian for the instruction that helps all of us take tree work to a higher and more professional level.

Although I only spent one day at the workshop, it was well worth it.

Thanks to everyone involved, it was a pleasure to meet all of you.

If you ever get to Southern RI bring your board and give me a call..The good surf is just around the corner with the winter storms on the rise.

Dan, by the way, you look like your having too much fun with that crane.. Thanks

Ohhhhhhh, that's who you were surfarmer. You chatted us up at lunch on friday about the virtues of winter surfing in New England! I swim like a rock, but more power to you!

Looks like another great workshop, thanks for the pics.

The Crane Estate is just awesome on the eyes, has anyone ever been inside? Is it equally awesome there or is it empty?

Imagine the parties that old dawg Crane musta had there back in the day..!

Each year that we are there, we receive a private tour through the house, museum on 2nd floor, up to the office where public is not allowed, and then up to the roof deck. It is an amazing property to say the least!

he has a "mens only area" down below of the main house by the gates, its now the Inn. He used it for drinking and relaxing only, about 5,000 sq/ft!
