KOA definetly figured pull from the front just didn't take the time to make some fairleads. TD's Idea of a swivel mount so it could turn to the load with an anchor ring on the back to ty off to a substantial object when winching extra heavy loads.
I wanted a slide over mount that just pins to the BMG so you wouldn't have to take the grapple and the hyd hoses off, (Thomas has 2 Hyd ports). The trick I am trying to work out is unpin it from the BMG and pin it to its own mounting plate(big or little) when needed and then also being able to pin it to a bracket on a bucket truck. This would make it a multi versatil winch to help justify the cost.
I would like to try it with an Amsteel product maybe. Anybody use that stuff yet? I'll have to ask Greg if its compatible with his capstan. You out there Greg?
