Girl question here - Undergarments

OK - with the warmer weather about to arrive, I am looking for different undergarments to replace my longsleeve base layers that are worn under my shirts.

So - this is for the Lady Climbers more,

Do any of you have a recommandation to a support type of garment

that has adjustable straps, non underwire (shocking)
wicked type of material? one that is NOT a pull over the head type - front or back snaps perferred.

I believe there are non-metallic underwire bras available. These were developed due to metal detector use. Not sure if VS has them.

I'm a widowed father of 3 daughters so, I've gained some knowledge in this area. NOT MUCH but, some....

wow, jz. brass ovaries asking that question in this venue. i like your optimism. ever heard of title 9? it's a federal (?) statute from the 70s that required public schools to spend as much $ on girls sports as boys sports. also the name of a most excellent women-owned company specializing in athletic gear:

their stuff is not cheap, but the selection is amazing and the products are well made. so there ya go. good luck.

hey shari, sorry i just got your pm..

for me i like patagonia and prana tops
think tank tops with a support systems, not an actual "bra" but support enough for my ta-tas, which aren't enormous, but not small either..
my favorite is this.. http://www.prana.com/prodbot.aspx?prodid=2124&menu=&active=19
it keeps everything all tight up in there, i can even run down mts. in this top and not get black eyes
oh and it has adjustable straps too

pattagucchi and prana both run expensive but are both well worth it, and both will fix or replace anything within reason

almost everything in this catagory from these companies is all poly-pro, wicking, etc.

for just bras, i like these.. http://www.patagonia.com/web/us/product/...TS&ws=false
they are pull over your head though, but i have yet to come across a bra that hooks in the back that doesnt have any wire in it

hope this helps : )
