Giant tree swing and 100 foot slip & slide

10 year old birthday party was a smash today. Didn't get pictures of the swing in action, but the 100' of 4ml plastic with some Dawn on it made a killer slide.

That brings back good memories. We used to make mud slides by taking handfuls of clay and covering a grassy slope.

I hope they stop before the pavement.

A couple of the running belly flops came close, but stopped at the edge of the road. They had a blast.

What I'd give to be young again ....

What did you wind up using? And letting the kids play in the back of the chip truck doesn't count.

String trimmed an area of turf, spaded edges, removed thatch and topsoil layer, dry laid a border in brick 2 courses high, 8 bags of play sand.
About 1 hour of work
