Gerry Beraneks 090 up for auction!!

That's a photo of my friend Wes Burns ripping the double at Mill Bank resort. Taken back in early 80's. We had only been using synthetics for about 7 years then. So I would venture to say it had to be either a silver-lon or a newly aquired arborplex. Both half inch. Aborplex is kind of oversize anyway. But also, any slight movement by Wes would make the rope appear larger too, because, to get the shot, the shutter was slowed to one-half or a full second. A blurred rope maybe?

Here is Baileys 1995 Catalog cover.

I have an original 1985 bailey's summer catalog cover showing the same pics. That was their first color cover. It's going to go to who ever has the winning bid on the 090. Plus a whole bunch of 11X16 laminated laser prints of some of the trees the saw was used to fell and buck. That one of Wes would be one.
