Geezers 2009

I'm going to try and put together a photo album from the '09 Geezers and have them bound. They may cost like $30 per, but anyone who wants one can order it once it's done. I'll get back to you all on the price when I know how much it will be. In the meantime, I need to identify everyone in this photo. Can anyone help? I'd love a list of everyone from left to right in rows.

I have a ton of work ahead to put together this book, so if I could get help with the captions than that would be cool.

I have seen some of his books, and I will be putting one on my coffee table, if I had a coffee table, but I will still get one.
Scotty

Come on, no one is going to help him with the ID ?

Thanks a ton JZ! That got me started. I am able to figure out most last names of the competitors because I have the score sheet, but does anyone have last names of the techs and the names Shari didn't know?

I'd like to get some feedback on the books. You can go to http://www.blurb.com/learn_more/books and see the books I'm talking about. Even with trimming out a lot of photos, this book will still be pretty big and may actually cost more like $50-80 even. If we get into that price range then I start thinking about the large format books which are beautiful coffee table books and you can get lots of photos per page.

Now I can trim it down further and have only the very best shots. I can also only show the competition day and leave out the setup, social, and rec climbing.

If you guys could give me some feedback, that would help a lot. You can PM me or email me at steve@skrocki.com if you prefer.

I could also do a nice DVD slide show for much less. That is a nice option too, but there is also something awesome about having a printed book too.

Peace, Steve

I had a good time and will be at next yrs event shooting everybody. :)

If anybody knows who is in charge of this would you please let me know I would like to be able to set up a dozen or so of my cameras in the trees next time and set up some of the climbers with helmet cams so I can put together a bad as* video for ya guys.

Meeting Dave was defintly one of the highlights of this experience. The retelling of his horrible accident was quite emotional for me and I know I saw a few others with welled up eyes in the room as well. Thanks to Mr. Lutes for the public speaking that he does. He has no doubt made this a much safer industry.
Thanks for putting this up uneekimage. It was nice meeting you as well. Welcome to the Buzz.

Thanks guys.
I was actually the guy also working with Dave on the day of his fall. I worked with him for 3 plus yrs and can not say anything bad about the guy, best boss I have had besides myself:)

I will send you a email shortly Scotty to discuss next yrs event. Thx

P.s my name is Mike for some of you that I met, I am really bad with names myself. I havent been around this stuff since Daves fall really and it was a good getaway and I had a great time just been in this atmosphere again, thanks again everybody and I look forward to next yrs event.

Hi Mike,

I didn't introduce myself, but I saw you filming with your camera. Your work is very impressive! I liked the Euro video, very nice production level.

Looking forward to seeing you next year!
