He is an acquired tasteAccording to Wikipedia, JL Peterson has never been married and has a son. Yet I saw a short interview of him where he's wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with "Stop having SEX out of wedlock." He's publicly very anti-gay, yet a few men have come forward telling of their homosexual relationships with Peterson.
Even if my quick impression of him wasn't a nut job hypocrite, I still couldn't bear to listen to him because he takes so long to communicate his thoughts. It's like the audio version of watching paint dry.
If people enjoy listening to him, have at it. Given a choice, I'd rather listen to a 2 stroke.
Why would someone care what this man [Edit: Thomas Sowell] has to say? Isn't this "argument" (which I would argue has no place under this thread's heading) about whether the words/concepts of intellectualism and liberalism are interchangeable? Can't we simply agree that there are many Republican, conservative intellectuals in the world and leave it at that.Tom,
In this video. A brave, brilliant and very well educated black man gives a critique of intellectuals that may impact on your aspirations to be counted in their number:
Incidentally he also refutes the BLM communist ideology in other videos from decades ago.
Back to this idea.Back to the thread.
