2020? You can interpret what I quoted about 2020 above however you want.

I think all the fallout from 2020 greatly likely curtailed some of the shenanigans this year. In fact, there are some shenanigans that were quickly caught this year.

Things have changed. It's more difficult to cheat. But that's just my opinion. If there was massive shenanigans in favor of Trump I hope the liberal media will work as hard as conservatives did to call it out.
 
I don't think I've seen it mentioned here, but the 'first past the post/winner take all' voting system inevitably results in minority rule and/or a two party system. Ranked choice is an improvement over what most of us have today, but doesn't solve the underlying issue.

We changed our municipal to ranked choice recently, it caused a great bit of confusion but I do agree that it is a better system. It's not terribly difficult to understand, but the losing side insisted it was rigged of course...

Good point. Maybe it is our turn to 'Stop the Steal' by someone who has already been shown to be both a felon and a traitor to this country and its constitution. But no, we are better than that. We respect the process, unlike those who have proven they don't. Anyway, Trump's win by a majority this time doesn't mean much when you consider the fickleness of the electorate. The country flipflops back and forth regularly, since just about anything that happens is somehow seen as the fault of a current president. So four more years' of Trump's incompetence will turn his temporary majority back into the minority it was before. The only thing regrettable is that he has less checks on him this time around and there will be permanent damage to the environment, our position and respect globally, and any possibillity of rebuilding unity in the country.

ranked choice is another PART of the solution, but without fractional representation, still amounts to a winner take all scenario with the potential for minority rule.

Regarding mail in voting.. I didn't realize you could even vote in person here. Previous 3 elections my mail in ballot was rejected because of a 'signature issue'. If there is any variation of your signature vs what they have on file they toss it out, I was never given the opportunity to 'cure' my ballot, and i was even reported to the district attorney one year (which I was never contacted).

I cannot see a reason vote for a third party candidate. I know there is the principal of it, also building of the voting base, to gain momentum in the hopes it will catch on more yearly.

2020 in Nashua, NH, a Trump supporter was just watching the ballots been counted by 4 people, (3 were known democrats, one was a known republican), then shortly after the counting started he was asked to leave the room and if he didn't he would be arrested. He was allowed to be in the hallway, just not the room of counting.

the vote count was not significantly different on the republican side. maybe some were swayed to vote trump, but a similar number were turned off by his bullshit. I apologize for using words that sounded like I meant 0 difference in numbers, but it was not a statistically significant change. And your time doesn't have value to you? I am sure you had fun though so, maybe call it a wash.
