so, by your reasoning we should have heavy doubts that this was a fair and honest election?I don't trust mail in ballots, ever. No firm change of custody. Here in SC early voting is primarily done at voting locations using real voting machines backed up with a printed ballot.
How much election fraud does it take to literally steal an election? 43,000 votes in 2020. How many actual documented ballots were in question? Far more than that. Trump probably should have held off the election confirmation due to massive fraud. You could justify it based on constitutional voter disenfranchisement. But he didn't. He turned over the presidency to Biden right on time.
SUPPORTING MY CLAIM: I used AI Analysis and urge you to do the same if you doubt these documented cases (Claide.ai, which is documented to not be biased in favor of conservatives. Buy to move this beyond reproach, I had it just document actual court records):
Based on documented cases and court records, here are key instances of ballot irregularities:
Pennsylvania: About 372,000 mail-in ballots were rejected for verification issues during the general election, but after court rulings and Secretary of State guidance changed the standards mid-election, many were subsequently counted. Main issues were missing dates and mismatched signatures. The acceptance rate varied significantly by county. (Confidence: 85% on the existence of these cases, 70% on the numbers)
Nevada: About 153,000 ballots had signature mismatches or other verification issues. After relaxed verification standards were implemented, many were counted. Clark County had notably different acceptance rates than other counties. (Confidence: 80%)
Georgia: Drop box chain of custody documentation was missing for approximately 355,000 ballots in the Atlanta area. State law required this documentation. (Confidence: 85%)
Michigan: Detroit TCF Center testimony indicated ballots with verification issues were counted after poll workers were instructed to override normal verification processes. Numbers unclear but sworn affidavits suggest thousands. (Confidence: 75%)
Wisconsin: About 200,000 voters were allowed to claim "indefinitely confined" status (bypassing ID requirements) compared to 67,000 in 2016. A court later ruled this shouldn't have been allowed without proper verification. (Confidence: 90%)
Party impact analysis: Studies indicate mail-in ballots trended heavily Democratic while in-person trended Republican in 2020.
2020? You can interpret what I quoted about 2020 above however you want.so, by your reasoning we should have heavy doubts that this was a fair and honest election?
Good point. Maybe it is our turn to 'Stop the Steal' by someone who has already been shown to be both a felon and a traitor to this country and its constitution. But no, we are better than that. We respect the process, unlike those who have proven they don't. Anyway, Trump's win by a majority this time doesn't mean much when you consider the fickleness of the electorate. The country flipflops back and forth regularly, since just about anything that happens is somehow seen as the fault of a current president. So four more years' of Trump's incompetence will turn his temporary majority back into the minority it was before. The only thing regrettable is that he has less checks on him this time around and there will be permanent damage to the environment, our position and respect globally, and any possibillity of rebuilding unity in the country.so, by your reasoning we should have heavy doubts that this was a fair and honest election?
We'll see you back here in four years. It will be interesting.Good point. ranked choice is another PART of the solution, but without fractional representation, still amounts to a winner take all scenario with the potential for minority rule.I don't think I've seen it mentioned here, but the 'first past the post/winner take all' voting system inevitably results in minority rule and/or a two party system. Ranked choice is an improvement over what most of us have today, but doesn't solve the underlying issue.
Here is a great video that explains it in simple terms, using animals so partisans don't get distracted....
But will they keep the penalty for not having insurance? Something tells me they'll forget that's a thing. Here is one thing coming for sure. I wonder how many of these people at the bottom of the ladder voted for Trump? Oh, and Mr. Anti-Vax RFK Jr. in charge of health? Great idea. His own immediate family said he was a f*cking nutcase.

we were about 60/40 but have a navy base...Because it's interesting to see voting results in such a small community, here is the current count in my heavily Democratic county.

yeah..... don't get me started on the water table contamination, the old strafing grounds, or bombing grounds! One pilot went rouge when some of the protests over noise was happening and drew a cock'n'balls in the sky over town... Classy stuff eh?Yep, I can hear the growlers from my house![]()
Regarding mail in voting.. I didn't realize you could even vote in person here. Previous 3 elections my mail in ballot was rejected because of a 'signature issue'. If there is any variation of your signature vs what they have on file they toss it out, I was never given the opportunity to 'cure' my ballot, and i was even reported to the district attorney one year (which I was never contacted).
it sounds like you don't care if this election was also stolen, because your guy won? you don't actually care if it was fair? wouldn't ypu want all the media from both sides to expose any and all malfeasance?2020? You can interpret what I quoted about 2020 above however you want.
I think all the fallout from 2020 greatly likely curtailed some of the shenanigans this year. In fact, there are some shenanigans that were quickly caught this year.
Things have changed. It's more difficult to cheat. But that's just my opinion. If there was massive shenanigans in favor of Trump I hope the liberal media will work as hard as conservatives did to call it out.
the vote count was not significantly different on the republican side. maybe some were swayed to vote trump, but a similar number were turned off by his bullshit. I apologize for using words that sounded like I meant 0 difference in numbers, but it was not a statistically significant change. And your time doesn't have value to you? I am sure you had fun though so, maybe call it a wash.Regardless of the vote count compared to 2020 (btw, there was actually more votes), there was more Trump support in many northern Massachusetts counties vs. 2020, a significant number people commute from southern NH to Mass.
It wasn't much money at all, only time.
I cannot see a reason vote for a third party candidate. I know there is the principal of it, also building of the voting base, to gain momentum in the hopes it will catch on more yearly.
2020 in Nashua, NH, a Trump supporter was just watching the ballots been counted by 4 people, (3 were known democrats, one was a known republican), then shortly after the counting started he was asked to leave the room and if he didn't he would be arrested. He was allowed to be in the hallway, just not the room of counting.
