The investigation began as the result of claims that the Russian government colluded with Trump.

It has damaged any chance of Trump altering the aggressive US policy towards Russia and improving relations with a peaceful nation capable of fighting a humanity ending war.

The investigation has revealed an instance of individual corruption in a festering wound of rot that comprises the US ruling class.

I think it a huge price to pay.

Improving relations with Russia should be regarded as of utmost importance.

On a human to human basis, there are hopes the people of Russia and our own nation, working together could imagine a cooperative world, addressing climate change and replacing hydrocarbon-dependent addictions with job-producing technologies. I would hope so, I wouldn't expect anything less now that Trump has introduced stricter vetting across the board.

Having travelled to the US legally via a J1 Visa. I stayed for 18 months, the duration the J1 allows, then I left to come home.

That's one route you can take to legally enjoy the privilege of living and working in the US.

If I ever went back to the US to visit I would follow the legal requirements unlike so many others who disrespect the law.
