foods to avoid while working?

As a part of the deal I made with the client I was working for today... she made my worker and I lunch. When I went to ask what she was making, she replied "Chili with rice and toast" I politely declined and wound up getting this AWESOME brisket sandwich on fresh pumpernickel bread instead. My worker had some chili with rice... on the way back home he said it was really good and is looking forward to going back again, but in the beginning even he had some reservations about eating chili for lunch.

Just wondering what general types of food you guys try to avoid while working, or even before the work day begins. Drinks too... let's not forget how some customers will often come out offering water, soda, etc.

Chilidogs for breakfast.Or the notorious legendary "the bomb" burrito at basically any covenience store in Texas. The Bomb marks a guaranteed bathroom stop in 30 minutes to and hour.Ive banned all employees from engaging in the bomb during working hours.

besides the foods that cause rapid intestinal expulsion i avoid things like donuts and coffee which clients often bring out because sugar slows me down and coffee will have me doin the tinkle dance every 3 minutes. i don't eat breakfast (it slows me down..go figure) and i eat a ham sandwich (or some variation of one)for lunch and a few granola bars...then i go home and power eat my dinner after which i fall into a deep food comma and pass out on my bed.

I don't avoid foods, so to speak. I breakfast like a King, have lunch like a Prince, and have supper like a pauper.

Rich always told me that Sushi burns clean....

I try not to eat pastries for breakfast..... they feel like they stop at the top of my tummy... I can't breathe... so i always do yogert or a smoothie for breakfast, and then it is on for lunch

I have been feeling sluggish lately though(due to always overeating and eating very rich foods) so i have been thinking about trying an all veggie diet for a while.... think i will start monday

I can't stand working with an empty stomach. If I don't eat large in the morning I feel weak by 11am.

As far as what to avoid eating... I dunno! I usually will avoid drinking sodas while working, however. They make me thirsty and I feel robbed of proper hydration.

we don't take lunch until 12...sometimes we don't eat until 1 or 2 depending on how the job is going. we work at alot of resorts and sometimes you just have to get in get out not stop until its done.

I eat porridge every morning at 6 (slow release energy I read somewhere), sandwiches etc around mid-day and a large dinner when I get home. I try to avoid salt where it is obvious although I crave it in hot weather.

Drink what I can when its available, never turn it down. No problems with sugar.

Even though I'm pretty consistent with it all, some days I feel deadly, other's I feel like $hit, who knows!

Guinness in the evening works very well for me, especially if I'm dehidrated, try it.

I have in the past worked with collegues whom I suspected to be suffering from over-active imaginations rather that from the effects of their diet.

Be concious of your foods but be careful not to imagine symptoms that aren't really there, things can soon get out of hand.

Craving salt may indicate a need for it. As for avoidance....large ammounts of fresh peaches, plums nectarines, apricots or cherries are all bowel looseners. Likewise the carbonated sweet drinks loaded with high fructose corn sweetener.

some times i drink maple syrup...not really but i just had a visual of only drinking that durring the work day...ugh

i just learned somthing new.... if you have to climb all day, don't stop and take lunch at a little BBQ joint in nashville called Jacks.... The Brisket stayed in my brisket for far too long
