Comfy rooms, clean, friendly staff, heated pool, hot tub, laundry at hotel, gym (oh wait thats the trees at the park, nevermind that one) and my favorite, free hot breakfast. I have stayed here in the past, it was a nice place. It is about 4 to 5 miles from the park, but it is worth the drive for the price. And it is only I think 2 or 3 turns to the park (including turning into the park)
You MUST call to get the good rate, don't do it online!!
The rate hold is only being held at that rate until June 10th, after that they can up the rate.....so CALL NOW!
I will also be accepting donations for my room. LOL ok fat chance, but a girl can try right??

All right loud mouth.
Just for your information this is the first time in many years we have had 25. Last year was 19 year before was around 15, go back to 2004 and we only had like 7.
We have worked very hard to get more involved and it has happened, who knows next year we could have 30.
I'm excited we have two women climbers this year.
And yes the winner will be the state chapter champ and go to Providence on our behalf.
Could there be better climbers out there? Maybe, but I don't think so.
Why don't you come down and run your mouth in person and help out. Oh ya that's above you..............

It also comes down to the amount of volunteers, tech, judges and those willing to setup and break down the events, TCC's do not run themselves.
Holle you are in NJ - get with that group and put in some time - help NJ get their numbers to that 30 mark. ALSO - Do all the climbers in the state even know about the comps. I do not think so.

It also comes down to the amount of volunteers, tech, judges and those willing to setup and break down the events, TCC's do not run themselves.

I must say I lived in NJ almost all my life, even ran our own tree service for a while and only after moving to FL in 2004 to help with hurricane clean ups did I ever hear of any TCC (much Thanks to Zac for that, and Scotty for encouraging it through the OUTCCTT)
Oh well, to each his own.....I think Dr. Seuss said it best..... "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind, don't matter, and those who matter don't mind"
On that note, if we have 5 or 25 or 50, it doesn't matter much to me, as long as we all have a good time.
