Scotty,

First, thank you! Please remind whoever wants to compete to get their info into Kris ASAP, I need a head count to order shirts ASAP, as well as putting together food for the weekend.
Im sorry I missed the training you did, but our little guy has been non stop coughing for over a month, he has been to more doctors then I care to count, and more to come, so hanging out has been put on the back burner, as always Family First.
Thanks again
Jennifer

ooooopps, my bad, sorry! Thanks jerseygirl

Just a quick reminder, for anybody who needs a room, you have to book before 6/10/09 to get the good rate, use either FLISA or Florida ISA and you have to call for the $69+tax rate ($78 total, I believe) do not try to book online, or you wont get the group rate.
Country Inn & Suites 5730 Gantt Rd. Sarasota 34233

We are also planning on doing the Master's Challenge announcement as well as dinner at the same hotel on Saturday evening, so even if you are not staying there, write down the address.

Will you be accepting last minute out of state climbers?

[/ QUOTE ]

The cut off to enter is May 15th, you can obtain all info about registering at www.floridaisa.org typically as long as all dues are current we can take a few last minute climbers, but I am told we have a limit, so getting your info in quickly will ensure you a climbing spot.
Of course out of staters are always welcome to climb, but you must be a FL resident in order to "compete" for prizes, and to represent this sunny state of ours.

Please contact myself via PM or our TCC Chair Kris Stultz at Kris.Stultz@BrickmanGroup.com if you have any other questions.

And I am happy to announce we will once again have a female competing!

Have a fabulous day everyone

ok - explain that statement - I understand about the masters that only instate climbers are allowed to advance.

BUT NO PRIZES for out of state competitiors even if they are first in an event - ie top score in footlock?

Florida is a Chapter of the ISA. Their TCC is meant to determine who is going to represent them at the ITCC. We do the same thing at the Southern Chapter (only giving prizes to climbers who live and work in the geographic region of the Chapter). Pretty standard, really.

WOW don't shoot the messenger....as I understand it, it is common practice to not reward out of state climbers, however when I asked I was just told it would be left for the climbers to vote on after gear check on Friday.....so......it will be up to the locals, I know they would (if they won an event) get the trophy, but as far as prizes are concerned, as we all know this economy is rough, and even the typical big donaters are having a rough year, so funds are limited on prizes. Unless of course some of you lovely folks would like to donate to the cause?? Again, please don't shot the messenger. I don't make the rules, just put them out there for everyone to read!

well, the deadline to register is quickly approaching! today is May 13th, and if you plan on climbing your registration is due by this Friday May 15th. PLEASE a million times please, if you want to climb and are planning on coming down last minute, can you PLEASE at the very least let Kris or myself know, it is rather hard to put together food orders without knowing how many folks need to be fed. I don't want any hungry folks, hunger makes for grumpy climbers! (who am I kidding? hunger makes me grumpy)

www.floridaisa.org

Have a happy day!!

Final Count down....1 more day to register to climb www.floridaisa.org

Judges/Volunteers to meet at Phillippi Estate Park 5500 S. Tamiami Trail Sarasota, FL 34231 park in 28 days to prepare area for the event, climbing starts in 29 days (please remember gear check is at 8AM on Friday seems the web site still wasn't updated).

Scotty, you are tops at getting the word out, I think you know more people than the mayor :o)~ PLEASE let everyone you know who is coming down know that gear check is at 8AM Friday morning!

Now sitting here wondering what did I get myself into this time around?? ....Happy Thursday! see you all very soon!!

How many climbers do you have at this point?

[/ QUOTE ]

My most recent update is, we have a total of 17 climbers, which includes 2 females. Today is the last day to register www.floridaisa.org if your planning on last minute, speak now please!!

Shirts are ordered, food is ordered, prizes are filling my spare bedroom, and I am ready!! (Actually I think Marty is ready for me to stop talking about it, LOL)

Happy Friday!
28 days........

Thanks guys :o)

I think this year everyone will be pleasantly surprised, despite low funds from a crappy economy, it all seems to be coming together and falling into place rather nicely, at least from my stand point.
But I guess as they say "the proof is in the pudding" and I will know for sure in just a few weeks.

I am looking forward to it (and I think Marty is looking forward to me not starting EVERY conversation with "so I talked to Joe Schmo about the TCC today and they are going to....." I think at this point when I start talking he turns on that loud mental beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep in his head, you know that annoying noise before they say, we have interupted your regularly scheduled programming)

Happy Tuesday everyone!

ok, now totally unrelated, and so classy....LOL

did you ever wonder in the dollar bill in your pocket/wallet has ever been in a strippers crack?

bet your thinking about it now!

My day begins with smiles!!!
