Does this hitch have a name?

Looking closely it looks like it almost could have been a scwabish, until the top leg turned and was tucked under the bottom leg and under the bar.

Looks like a cross between a scwabish and the distel

since your from wisconsin, call it the chedderhitch or the cheesehitch

I am digging all the name options. I am with you Tophopper but blake kind of stole using the first name. Thought about using something random but can't wrap my mind around to something.

I am liking the chedder or cheese option Josh

Blake's hitch is name after Jason Blake.

used to climb on this a lot, works really well and even better with a pulley or hitch climber but they are not really needed. Jokingly we used to call it the Caramel Mocha......

I have been using this knot lately and I think it is better than the VT. It grabs better and yet it releases with ease.

Very cool. Glad you are liking it!

I have been using it too once in a while. Mostly today removing three big leaders over a solarium in conjunction with a 3-1 system to help moving around in this huge White oak. It works awesome. Probably better without all yesterdays Pine pitch. I really need a Hitchclimber to enjoy the benefits of this system.
