DIY equiptment and tools

Having given up on cubes, I like using a throwbag spool thingy, (sourced from TreeStuff), but have found it useful to also have a couple of simple wooden reels too. Wooden file handles fun to make on lathe.

I've built a few chip truck boxes. Made the hanger for my bmg because I first had it on a John Deere tractor, then made a new hanger for it when I bought a mini. I know I've done a lot more but drawing a total blank right now. Might just have to check in later.

We just put in an offer on an old farm house today. Huge old 2 story barn that is in good shape and a 2 year old 36x54 barn. Really hoping we get this place as I've been living with the in laws for over six months now.
Good luck man. I hope you get it! I looked at an 1850's farmhouse with 125 acres. A little bit of a mess. Guy's a pig farmer. Went off the market.

Great thread Tyler and welcome to TreeBuzz. I'm not the greatest on getting projects done but, I admire those who do and their ingenuity.

I stole Tom Dunlap's idea of taping rare earth magnets to the bottom of my Silky scabbards for saw retention.

Why a rare earth magnet specifically?

This worked well. Not my design basically 2 c-clamps some angle iron bit a welding and rachet strap. Or you can skip all that and just strap down the saw is what I have done. Weld rod case fits two stihl file guides plus a few more files in 3/8 ther tube file card and bar tool.
Earth magnets in speakers are easy to come by garbage day. Hve to give th a try. Saw handle gettin hooked and thrown isn't an issue with the set up I use. Also tokeep rope from being knicked
