CRANE!! AM I DREAMING?

No problem yeah I was wondering the same about the controls being like a stand up one. I've run an older grove with old school controls. The newer controls are nice but for that price I'd adapt to them!

Yeah, I will adapt to that quickly for that price. Interesting how there is a stand up platform in the back with the outrigger controls to level the crane. Also, 105 feet of live boom with a tip height of 115 feet.

I looked at that on crane network looks kinda beat up and not too well looked after .... Go for the national Royce! My wife wants our addition in the house done before I can buy my crane but once it's done ...... It's crane time !

Oh I am going after it. I am just tied up for the next week. Starting a big job I have to be on everyday. I think I am going to fly out on Friday to check it out and see how it goes. If this big job goes well I can break off Friday for the weekend. If not, I think I can swing Monday. I will let you know how it goes. I just sold about a month worth of crane work in the last three weeks. I need a crane!!!

Can some of you seasoned guys give me your advice on this one? Looks like a good deal. I figure if I am going to spend 100K why not go the extra 20 for this?
Some of the guys at the crane course we're talking about that co. If it's the same co. They average one flip over a year! Have had a few fatalities also! Might be leery about buying from them! Just looking out for ya Royce!

That is what I wanted to know and hear. I always look at how a company runs it's operation and how the owner is. If they don't take care of their equipment then I am not that interested.
One of my issues is I want to go and look at the crane in person. So I am trying to narrow down my search to a couple good cranes and then go check them out.
Thanks for the tip!!!

No problem I'd expect the same from any of you guys and save me the $ and pains of buying an expensive piece of equipment !

That crane looks clean in the pic but as noted above, have heard sooo many bad things about that company, I personally wouldn't consider buying from them.

Thanks Cory, I will pass on that crane then. Thank you guys for the feedback.

Anytime the price is not mentioned, I've found they think they need to talk you into it before they hit you with a #. You could do any job with that nearly. I found that mine with the 69' jib is making a huge difference. I've only brought a loader for 3 out of 20 jobs this season so far. Should have bought a crane years ago

Yeah It's my dream too. Had to post it, that is the title of this thread!

So true!! I think that dream of a crane is almost a reality for me. I don't see how I can not get one!! That truck is in the 350-450K dollar price range. Baby steps....Baby steps!!
