Compact Bulldog Bone

@Treetopflyer; So, is that a large DMM Swivel, followed by a Delta link, (3/8 inch?, Stainless?), followed by two Compact Bulldog Bones on two ropes utilizing DSRT techniques, correct?

Hey Timber! You are almost all correct except I'm using a petzl small swivel. :) I'm probably going to try some wheeling and deLing soon to get a new adjustable pair of bones. I'd like my climb lines to be the same type. Right now my bollards dictate my rope choice . No problem that can't be worked with of course. It's amazing how easy and safe dsrt is once your mind is open to it.. or how I feel like it really enables me to conquer problems climbing on one line could entail much quicker not too mention safer in alot of ways.. I climbed on two wrenches before the bones and it's cool,but there's nothing like the self tending of mechanical engineer stuff. The dual bdb with the swivel Tree has really made for a very smooth climb experience for myself. I love it!
 
Hey all just got my bulldog bone today. Havent had a go yet but wondered is it worth putting a direct swivel attachment onto it? Looks like an art positioner swivel will fit? or not worth the hassles?

Also any other tips?

That's like page 54 or earlier.;) Welcome and glad to hear you have a BDB. So yeah, the Nano Swivel is the one that fits perfectly, but you can definitely look into the ART one as well...haven't heard about anyone trying that yet.

yeah i tried to find it but couldnt see it so many pages, only reason i say an art swivel is i have one here already, ill give it a go and post how it went.

Ok - The boss is maybe FINALLY going to order a bone - though which one should he get;

Should it be with the new upper arm or not (is it ultimately better than the old arm - anyone?)? - Do new bones now come with this arm as standard?
