Compact Bulldog Bone

You may want to build a tether similar to this, using throwline or bungee or whatever fits your style. I found it to be much easier to clip the bone into with the swing harness with a little extra length. You need a little play, a little length between the two when you sit in your saddle to make clipping in and out comfortable. Whether you increase the length on the chest harness/hut, or the bone is up to you really. Well that's how it has worked for me anyways.

Hi Tim

The body position alteration was simple.
I was finding it awkward to clip the chest harness in and out then found that the direction of pull on the chesty seemed awkward.
Stupidly, I immediately thought the solution was to buy a different chest harness or neck loop.

Instead, I discovered that by keeping my body more upright, everything is easier.
Of course this has made the whole system more efficient in terms of ergonomics.
Bungee instead of throwline works wonders as well . 02¢

Mac I know you could give a shit less if I was calling you ignorant..but I wasn't ..not my style.. I was speaking on my behalf . Stout little dynemma bungee is all I've ever used is why..I like it.. I found it keeps tight enough for tending its basically static ,but if something ever happens where I lean over it will stretch instead of applying direct pressure to top arms causing possible drop if I took a widowmaker to the face or some shit. K.o..Plus I can keep it attached and make small moves like grabbing a dead hanger or cutting a little sucker in between going up and its not constricting. Two second shit that takes more time to take tether off then on than to actually do .. Plus a like slipping my thumb through the loop sometimes and going up like that for short distanse . The bungee provide s a bit of give and isn't as sharp into my hand as I imagine throw line could be . Maybe I'll try a static tether and see if everything I just said was crap or if the bungees worth having?...For a unconciuos climber test with the tending location on top arms if someone fell to side could start a fall releaseing top arm with static tether ?? Think we've covered this pages ago ,but the bungee seemed ideal for safety in that regard. Even one that would pop as opposed to dropping a dude.

No, I was just putting that out there as a different strokes for different folks reminder. I know lots of people love a bungee. For whatever reason I feel like the thing is always wanting to drag around my knees. One mans trash as they say.
