Try making ur bollard "fixed"- as in gluing it so it doesn't roll or some other way from keeping the bollard from rolling....
Great idea Paul! And I think I speak for all of us when I say thank you for volunteering to get a wiki up and running....when can we expect to see it up and running?![]()

LOL, well if u change ur mind. You can use that link to find it![]()
Just that big thing behind it to make it all worthwhile. One rope, one bone, one biner. What else do u need?

No problem Gordon, hope to see u on there! Thanks Paul, go for it.
Thank you also Tyler for starting a FB account.
True... Just a thoughtI can't see this working well since the bollard needs to be changed at some point. An epoxy would not be easy to release and heat release adhesives like red locktite, would probably release from the heat of a long fast descent.
Sure! If I can figure out howCan you make the FB page open so that those us who can't get through the FB signup page without vomiting can see it?
Sure? The bone thread on fb is now public![]()
I was thinking about something similar...I think...I really can't wait for spring, I have so many ideas I want to try. I really think that length variations of the spine may allow for many of the skinner ropes to be used. I also think that a small profile on the friction face may help with small diameters.
I have made myself a spine with thicker stock and the holes are off centre... No tether hole at all. Not had time to test it properly yet but will report back.If the holes on the spine were offset instead of centered, the lower arm could be as adjustable as the upper.
