I must have been to the same game! November 19 of 2016 according to my phone. Miserable weather. Upper 30s with constant strong wind.
We were in the absolute highest row of the stadium with Touchdown Jesus at our backs. Tix were free though, so no complaints.

Hey...look, I'm over there! Yeah, that was a really cold game. I went with a friend whose father is good friends with a big time donor. We got his tickets (and parking space) so had pretty good seats. Not free, but great seats.

Your seats at South Bend look better than my seats watching VT at Ohio Stadium (also top row - of the closed endzone of the Shoe)...but as it turned out, any place was a great place to watch that game :bailando:

It’s all good. That loss sucked, but if memory serves, the rest of the season worked out just fine;)

It did...I was also in Blacksburg the next year when OSU got its payback. But man was that game in Columbus fun! I think we've covered the 3 CFB games I've been to in the last 10+ years...

It turns out Michigan actually put out a hype video for today’s game. I wasn’t sure if they still did that up there, after losing 8 straight and 15 of the last 16 or whatever. Gotta be running out of material. (There are kids finishing third grade who have never witnessed a Michigan win)

Anyhoo, two quotes from Harbaugh stood out to me:

“We’re gonna win or die trying”

“Everything we’ve been working for is right here right now. Why not us?”

1. You are going to die trying.

2. Because of the sprawling, stupendous, Grand Canyon sized talent gap between these programs. Also, you are specifically not good at football.

Happy game day gents! (Even the Michiganders among us)

it’s not been a good last 15 or so years
But all I hear is blah blah blah
Our recruiting has determined our future and it goes back to Loyd Carr

But we are only getting better and if Ohio hiccups we could pull out an upset
Remember Ohio is #2 Michigan #5
For a reason
So is there any bragging rights for Ohio?

At this point Ohio State is not so much playing for bragging rights as playing not to be the team that breaks the streak. I’m sure they’d like to go 20 straight.

Truthfully this game is unpredictable. Both very good teams. But strange things happen week to week. We lost to a mediocre Oregon, and you lost to an overrated MSU.

Also, the forecast looks awful. Hovering around 30 all day with rain/snow. That will definitely slow down the passing attack. Could be a throwback game where the better rushing team wins.
