ChipBox ?s and/or suggestions.

Does your truck have a bed on it now?

They're good old trucks but I'd have a hard time spending 25k on a bed...
I've seen forestry bodies at auction a few times. Couldn't tell you what they ended up selling for.

Had the I-pack box on another truck and it was great for holding lots of gear. I think I prefer underbody boxes now. Extra bed length for logs, etc. Can't carry "all" the tools but enough for most jobs.

Mines pretty ugly, bought the truck with a flatbed dump and had the chip box off of an old mack I had briefly.

11700 lbs with a driver, full tank of fuel and toolboxes packed but nothing in the bed.

@Tom Dunlap knows of a chip box compatible sheet plastic. I forget the name.

A hoist/hinges, electric-hydraulic pump and walls, with tarp or rigid top, seems like a good option.

Old chip trucks can have valuable boxes. My box/ hoist is worth more than my 1990 chip truck, which I actually used yesterday, after it sat for 6-12 months unused. I almost never haul chips and have other log hauling options.

I'm reluctant to sell the truck with the box unless I find a replacement with a dump box.

Call all over to find out if someone had an old truck with a bad engine or was crashed in the front end or whatever.

Delrin is another tough plastic

On another build thread someone got the plastic sheets from the walkways of an ice skating arena. Calling arenas or finding a construction company that builds them might get you some
